Artist Statement: Salvador Dali is an influence of mine in terms of his art, but also in how he approached being an artist. He never lost his fun, playful, upside down side. His paintings are stunning in their execution and also play in the viewer’s subconscious. Dali has pushed the surrealist movement so far that he’s created a ton of room for future generations to roam. I’m grateful for his perspective and artistic meanderings, and I’m taking the baton and running full speed.
